We are excited to announce a new housing assistance program to help students find roommates and housing even before arriving in Pasadena. Places4Students is completely free to LA Music Academy students and allows new students to post 'Roommate Profile' ads, existing students to place 'Roommate Needed' ads, and all can browse local apartment vacancy ads. To post ads, students must use their official lamusicacademy.edu email account, issued after acceptance to the Academy. Go to Places4Students.com and start your housing search today!

Westside Rentals is a leading apartment rental finding service and has numerous listings in Pasadena (16,000+ available rentals in southern California). You must sign up to view the listings, but LA Music Academy students receive $10 off per membership. If you need more personalized help, you can also get 10% off their full service rental tours. International Housing Placement Service offers Homestays for International Students. They will arrange housing in a private room with a local host family while you study in the USA. IHPS is located in Pasadena and knows the area well and is committed to placing students with high quality families and ensuring a positive experience. Rates as of November 2008 (subject to change, see IHPS website for current rates):

• Application fee $325
• Housing Option #1 (Homestay) is a private room with continental breakfast and dinner daily. Breakfast is student prepared and dinner is prepared by your host at least 4 nights of the week, $785 per month.
• Housing Option #2 (Home Share) is a private room only for $650 per month.
